2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Frisco, Texas is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
He or she is under the direct supervision of the Superintendent. The Second Superintendent is a key position within the Golf Course Maintenance operations of the East Course. The primary role of the candidate is to assist in managing the daily operations within the East Course. This individual also works directly under and supports the First Assistant Superintendent in the development, execution of daily tasks and chemical and fertility plans. This individual must always have a keen eye for detail and be able to assist the First Assistant Superintendent in keeping the golf course detailed and well-groomed for daily play and for the numerous events and tournaments throughout the year. Assist, directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways and cart paths. Responsible for the daily activities of the golf course maintenance staff, including supervision and training of staff to perform all the tasks associated with maintaining the golf course, including but not limited to scheduling and filling in for absent staff.
Requirements
Two- or four-year certificate from a college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Texas State License as pesticide applicator.
