Join our Neuro Trauma Recovery Stroke Unit, 5N! Primary Patient Population: • Stroke Rehabilitation Primary skills utilized/learned:

• Neurological assessments
• Adaptive ADLs
• Transfer/Mobility training
• Vital signs, IVs, Foley Catheter insertion/removal, Wound care, etc.

Personnel Nurse Intern will work with: • RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians Number of beds on unit: • 14 beds MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. • Enrolled in an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Completed fundamentals of nursing
• Currently registered in clinical rotations
• Continuous enrollment in a nursing program
• Eligibility to continue in the position is a maximum of 6 months upon graduating from nursing school
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
