Step into an impactful role where you’ll support students’ growth and learning as a dedicated occupational therapist on a contract assignment running from September 1, 2026, through June 9, 2027. This hybrid opportunity near Portland, OR, offers the unique chance to shape young lives, dividing your time between on-site intervention and virtual support for convenience and flexibility. With a manageable caseload of 30-50 students, you’ll deliver vital services, fostering independence and maximizing student success in a collaborative school environment.

Desired Background and Skills:

• Valid occupational therapy license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 populations
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation tailored for educational settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in providing both in-person and tele-therapy OT services
• Excellent time management and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and deliver evidence-based OT interventions within a hybrid model (3 days on site, 2 days virtual)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and special education staff to develop students’ IEP goals
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reports in alignment with district and state guidelines
• Support students with fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skills to enhance participation and learning
• Participate in team meetings and provide training/support to school personnel as needed
