Job Overview A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Labor & Employment Associate to join its team in Jacksonville, FL. This role offers the opportunity to engage in high-stakes employment matters, providing hands‑on responsibility within an established litigation practice. Duties Prepare for depositions and conduct legal research and writing. Engage in motions practice and manage discovery processes. Defend employers against claims under various employment laws. Represent unionized employers in labor matters and tort litigation. Collaborate with client, business, and legal teams effectively. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience in labor and employment litigation. Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law. Strong academic record with excellent writing and oral communication skills. Trial experience is a plus; judicial clerkship experience encouraged. Florida Bar membership required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in the Florida Bar. Skills Strong interpersonal skills and client engagement abilities.
