Work Environment\n

This full-time position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering therapy services. Our team operates within a detox center framework, facilitating comprehensive support for patients seeking recovery. The center is operational from Monday through Saturday, providing a structured yet adaptable work atmosphere. You will be empowered to create your own schedule to accommodate various therapeutic sessions, thus ensuring that both your professional needs and those of our clients are met seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in various therapeutic activities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments of individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to identify needs and inform treatment strategies.

• Implementing evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to the unique needs of clients in outpatient settings.

• Maintaining clear and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams, including regular updates during patient rounds and comprehensive documentation.

• Providing case management services for assigned patients, coordinating with hospital and community resources to ensure holistic care.

• Completing thorough and timely documentation of patient interactions and interventions in accordance with department protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients transitioning from detoxification processes, often dealing with complex mental health challenges including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Your role is crucial in guiding these individuals toward their treatment goals, enhancing their coping mechanisms, and facilitating their journey to recovery through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with experience in outpatient therapy.

• A strong commitment to ethical practice and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience in substance abuse treatment or with the detoxification process is highly preferred. Familiarity with using electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintaining optimal documentation practices will be advantageous in maximizing your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
