Paralegal


A local law office is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to perform a variety of tasks to help keep things running smoothly.


Responsibilities:


As a Paralegal you will assist attorneys in preparing for civil trials and court proceedings. Organize and track files from case documents and make them available and easily accessible to attorneys. Compile, analyze, and organize information. Prepare and edit written reports. Some other duties might include answering phone, responding to emails, filing, creating and maintaining schedules for lawyers, ordering supplies, copying and faxing.


Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or the equivalent
• Must have 5 years of insurance case experience
• Be neat, well groomed, and have a courteous, pleasant manner
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service and problem solving skills
• Clerical skills including word processing, filing, and records management

Evaluation-to-hire position


Hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Annual Salary is $55,000-$60,000/year.
