Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit RN – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

• First-time travelers welcome; minimum 1 year of PCU experience required

• Adult patient population with focus on transplant care, rejection monitoring, infections, and complex medical conditions

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit/Step-Down/Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line and PICC line care, IV insulin protocols, and port access
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
