Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years required License: Yes Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in titrating pressors and managing IV drugs for critically ill patients. Description: This unit cares for chronically ill patients requiring ventilation and complex medication management. Diagnoses may include hypertension urgency, sepsis, or cerebrovascular accident (CVA). The unit is designated for COVID positive patients. It may also receive surgical or cardiac patients if no other bed is available. Nurses must possess the ability to manage critically ill patients with complex needs. Strict 75-mile radius restriction applies. Cancellation policy includes 12 hours every 2 weeks. Charting system used is MEDITECH.
