Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students and their families, identifying emotional and social strengths and challenges related to their mental health and educational experiences.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address identified needs effectively.

• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care for students transitioning out of acute mental health services, ensuring a continuum of care.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including teachers and school counselors, to design and execute integrated care plans that involve input from all stakeholders.

• Provide education, resources, and counseling to parents and guardians regarding coping strategies, adaptation techniques, and available community resources to support the student's mental health journey.

• Offer crisis intervention and short-term counseling when necessary, utilizing both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Engage in professional development through presenting at educational workshops and conferences, sharing expertise in psychosocial practices.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions, assessments, and interventions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
