Schulson Collective is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to join our culinary leadership team across our award‑winning portfolio of restaurants. This is a rare opportunity to lead within a high‑volume, chef‑driven, design‑forward restaurant group known for exceptional hospitality, elevated cuisine, and a commitment to culinary excellence.
About the Role
The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations for one of our flagship concepts, ensuring flawless execution, consistency, and a refined guest experience. This leader will shape kitchen culture, uphold rigorous standards, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive the culinary vision of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large BOH team with a focus on professionalism, precision, and accountability
- Oversee menu execution, quality control, and consistency across all services
- Manage food cost, labor, inventory systems, and vendor relationships with strategic discipline
- Partner with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with senior culinary leadership on menu development, seasonal changes, and long‑term culinary strategy
- Maintain a polished, composed presence during service, modeling the standards expected of the team
Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of senior culinary leadership experience in a high‑volume, upscale or fine‑dining environment
- Strong technical foundation and the ability to lead by example on the line
- Demonstrated success managing cost, systems, and large teams
- A leadership style that balances high expectations with mentorship and team development
- Experience with Japanese, Italian, steakhouse, or modern American cuisine is a plus
- A commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality through culinary excellence
