Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses and effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches that align with best practices in mental health care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, ensuring safety and stabilizing emotional states when necessary.

• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical records, documentation, and progress notes in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care and leverage collective expertise for optimal client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and available community resources, while advocating for clients’ rights and needs.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) in New York State is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
