This role demands a professional with a Juris Doctorate degree, active state bar membership, and a minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience, including at least 8 years in-house at publicly traded technology companies. The VP will be responsible for a wide range of essential functions, including advising on securities laws and corporate governance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies, and leading enterprise risk management and information security compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in securities and corporate governance, a high level of business acumen, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key responsibilities for the VP of Corporate Legal and Compliance at the company include the preparation and review of various SEC and Nasdaq filings, managing the virtual annual stockholder meeting, and supporting global HR compliance projects. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams on M&A, corporate transactions, and strategic initiatives.
