Proposal Coordinator - AEC

Established in 1900, Mead & Hunt is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm. We have a full‑time position available for a Proposal Coordinator to work with our transportation infrastructure group. Ideal locations would be Tampa, FL ; Lexington, Columbia, MD ; SC ; North Charleston, SC ; Orlando, FL ; Raleigh, NC ; Washington, DC ; Madison, WI . Responsibilities Develop marketing materials and content. Drive the proposal development process. Lead proposal kickoff meetings. Strategize to create marketing plans. Identify key publications and award submissions for the group. Develop and manage the annual marketing plan, schedule, and budget. Lead interview preparation. Offer input and guidance on project and team selection for proposal pursuits. Coordinate business development calls and provide appropriate reports. Organize client events. Attend tradeshows and conferences. Track client feedback and satisfaction surveys. Some travel may be required for conferences, events, and team training. The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field from an accredited college or university and at least two (2) years of relevant experience. OR an associate degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university and at least four (4) years of relevant experience. OR no degree and at least six (6) years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following Lead proposal submissions (RFP/RFQs) and interview teams. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; and CRM databases (Vision or AEC360 preferred). Previous experience in the AEC industry: familiarity with Transportation/Infrastructure. Excellent interpersonal, time‑management and organizational skills. Excellent grammar and writing skills required (familiarity with AP Style Guide). Ability to work in a fast‑paced, continuously changing environment while maintaining tight deadlines. Proven organization, problem‑solving, communication, and interactive skills. Ability to understand and write about technical issues and understand related technical terminology. Salary Range: $60,000 to $76,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as experience, skill set, or location.
