Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand clients’ needs, followed by the formulation of personalized treatment plans that identify specific therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing established methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster positive behavioral change.

• Support clients coping with PTSD by providing empathetic guidance and structured therapeutic support in a secure and encouraging virtual environment.

• Collaborate with clients to set actionable objectives, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

• Maintain and document accurate client records adhering to ICD-9 standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to develop innovative strategies that enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

• Facilitate family counseling sessions aimed at improving interpersonal relationships and strengthening family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds. Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with PTSD, emotional struggles, and behavioral challenges. This diversity allows you to apply a broad range of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• An active California state licensure (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required to practice in this capacity.

• Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy and case management within a mental health setting.

• Proficiency in using evidence-based therapy models, especially CBT and ABA, or similar approaches.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, coupled with a strong aptitude for building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team dedicated to client improvement.
