Job Description

This role will be based in our San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Chicago, New York, or Omaha offices.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

As a Sr. Program Manager, Go-To-Market Enablement, you will lead and manage global go-to-market and field enablement programs, and develop project strategies for the Center of Excellence (COE) supporting AI initiatives. You will help bring new AI-enabled capabilities from concept to launch and adoption across the field by shaping what gets built, shipping it, and making sure it lands. As a Sr. Program Manager, you will identify, develop, and manage high-priority initiatives that drive sales success within the Program Management Office (PMO) of the COE. You will work with Go-To-Market Enablement, Sales, and Customer Success, along with cross-functional leaders including Product Marketing, Insights, Sales Ops, BizOps, and Legal, as well as productivity engineering and product partners building AI capabilities, to ensure programs are scoped and resourced, timelines are accurate, and leaders are engaged and informed of key responsibilities. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, resolving blockers, tracking performance, and communicating project status updates to internal business partners.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of AI-enabled capabilities end to end; from defining the problem and shaping requirements with technical partners, through build, launch, and measured adoption in the field.

• Serve as a consultative lead for AI-enabled program management practice: partner with teams to rethink how programs get planned, tracked, and reported, and influence the tooling and standards the program management team adopts to scale those patterns.

• Evaluate AI outputs critically and establish the quality bar for what ships by defining where human review is required, what “good enough” looks like, and how quality is measured once a capability is live.

• Ensure AI capabilities are built and deployed in line with LinkedIn’s Responsible AI principles, security standards, and approved tooling guidance.

• Champion adoption of new AI capabilities across teams by helping others understand what a capability can and cannot do, sharing what works, and building the practices that make usage stick.

• Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to program or project management work, including workflows you have redesigned and shared with others.

• Build, lead, and execute global cross-functional project teams to ensure programs are successfully deployed, and capabilities are delivered.

• Drive strategic horizontal initiatives that advance the ability of the Go-To-Market Enablement organization to deliver advanced, quality learning experiences for internal stakeholders and teams.

• Be a subject matter expert who enables partners to deliver world-class learning programs via consultation, training, education, and guidance, including challenging the framing of requests where the stated problem is not the real one.

• Innovate processes based on evolving requirements, develop repeatable processes, and partner with product and marketing teams to define process requirements, roles and responsibilities, and decision-making matrices.

• Develop strategic enablement plans and project timelines, own completion of milestones, prioritize actions, communicate with multiple stakeholders, use analytical ability to measure and report status, handle risk mitigation, and eliminate blockers.

• Evaluate priorities and develop plans to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, where capabilities, roadmaps, and stakeholder priorities may shift quickly.

• Develop a relevant rhythm of business and dashboards for programs to ensure transparency and alignment with partners and leaders.

• Communicate throughout the program deployment lifecycle and be an influential change champion.

• Go deep in understanding and validating internal and external customer needs, and translate them into specific, actionable requirements, product roadmaps, learning journeys, and project plans.

• Use problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous problems, conduct data-driven analysis, extrapolate key insights, and deliver recommendations.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement approved recommendations.

• Learn quickly, be agile and proactive, and assume ownership for broad tracks of global workstreams.

Basic Qualifications

• BA or BS degree, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience in program management or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in decision-making processes.

• Experience with change management, including planning for resistance and driving adoption rather than rollout.

• Experience shipping a product, tool, or technical capability by partnering with engineering or product teams through build and launch, not only rollout and enablement.

• Ability to build enough AI domain knowledge to be a credible partner to technical teams and to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.

• Familiarity with how a large sales organization operates and how enablement drives performance within it.

• Experience in high-growth, performance-focused environments.

• Experience in the tech, digital education, or learning space.

• Experience working on global enterprise businesses.

• Experience managing indirect teams to achieve common goals.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams.

• PMP certification a plus.

The pay range for this role is $121,000 to $197,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
