Join our dynamic team at Kidney & Hypertension Specialists as a Medical Assistant in beautiful Delray Beach, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to support our dedicated healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
- All front desk responsibilities ( Checkin/Checkout)
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Complete prior-authorizations for medications.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Perform basic urine test.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
- Athena EMR- helpful.
- Must be able to work dual roles both MA and Front Desk responsibilities.
