Production Technician

The Production Technician works in a controlled cleanroom environment, following Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers. This role involves working from detailed instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, work documents, and technical drawings to ensure consistent, high-quality output. The position suits someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Follow detailed instructions, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work documents, and technical drawings, to complete production tasks accurately.
• Work in a controlled cleanroom environment while adhering to all cGMP requirements and site-specific protocols.
• Perform general production, assembly, and packaging activities on the production or assembly line as needed.
• Handle materials and products in a warehouse or production setting, including basic order handling and movement of goods.
• Use basic computer systems to complete required training modules and document production activities when needed.
• Apply strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality specifications and are free from defects.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all gowning, PPE, and chemical hygiene requirements, including proper use of disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently as part of the assembly and production process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to support cleanroom standards and efficient operations.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues regarding production status, issues, or process improvements.

• Basic computer skills sufficient to complete training modules and simple data entry tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and document work as required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and support process improvements.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and general assembly work.
• Capability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift, including working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to occasionally lift and handle up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures at all times.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and contribute in a production or assembly setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Approximately 1 year of production experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in production, assembly, warehouse work, or order picking is beneficial.
• Comfort working on assembly lines, in general production, and in packaging environments.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic material handling is an advantage.
• Experience using hand tools and basic production equipment.
• Understanding of chemical hygiene practices, including safe handling of disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.

Work Environment:

This role is based in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment where you may work up to 10 hours per day with the possibility of overtime. The cleanroom operates at greater than 30% humidity with temperatures maintained between 6070F and ambient noise levels typical of a production facility. You will wear full cleanroom gowning, including gloves, hair or beard net, face cover, and safety glasses, and you must avoid wearing makeup or jewelry while in the cleanroom. The position involves frequent forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion, as well as standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift. You will regularly use PPE and follow chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and IPA, and you will use hand tools and production equipment to complete tasks. Occasionally, you will need to lift and handle up to 40 pounds unassisted.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEBANON, TN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.28/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
