Public Relations Coordinator

Our client is looking for a part time (20 hours per week) Marketing/PR Coordinator. This is a highly hands‑on role with exposure across creator marketing, community, events, content, product seeding, and retail launch execution. NYC area only. This role requires in office hours. The role will evolve with launch priorities. Initially, the focus will be heavily weighted toward event and launch support. Following the launch event, the majority of the role will shift toward building and managing our creator, community, and product-seeding programs. APPROXIMATE TIME ALLOCATION — ONGOING Creator + Community Marketing — 40% Creator research, outreach, DMs, follow-ups, and relationship building Maintain creator lists, outreach trackers, gifting status, and performance tracking Support creator and community management Identify emerging creators and relevant cultural/social opportunities Product Seeding + Mailers — 25% Coordinate ongoing creator and PR product seeding Manage sample requests, ordering, packing, shipping, and tracking Maintain sample inventory and support SKU/order setup Help scale and organize the ongoing mailer program Content + Social Support — 20% Support content creation and capture for HAEZE social channels Assist with creator/UGC content organization and tracking Identify trends, formats, and content opportunities relevant to the brand Events + Activations — 15% Support planning and production of press, creator, retail, and brand activations Assist with event logistics, product, gifting, guest experience, and on‑site execution For the first 1–2 weeks, approximately 60–70% of the role may be dedicated to event and launch preparation, including press-event production, stuffing and organizing mailers, samples, gifting, event setup, content capture, and other immediate execution needs. The role will then transition toward the ongoing allocation above. WHO YOU ARE Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning processes from start to finish Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build and maintain clean trackers, organize data, and work confidently with formulas and reporting Highly proficient with AI tools and able to use them effectively for research, organization, analysis, content development, and improving day‑to‑day workflows Comfortable learning new platforms and systems quickly Strong communicator who is comfortable reaching out, following up, and being persistent Interested in beauty, fragrance, fashion, culture, social media, and creator marketing Fluent in TikTok and Instagram and excited by creator culture Creative, resourceful, and willing to jump between analytical and highly hands‑on work Excited by the opportunity to help build a new brand from the ground up WHAT YOU’LL GAIN This is an opportunity to get hands‑on experience launching and building a consumer brand at national retail, with direct exposure to creator strategy, social/community, PR, experiential, content, and retail marketing.
