We are seeking an experienced Grant Coordinator / Project Manager Team Leader to support state and federally funded healthcare programs, with a focus on rural healthcare initiatives.

The consultant will be responsible for coordinating and administering federal grants, managing project activities, monitoring compliance, preparing grant documentation, and coordinating with program leadership, budget teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience working for a State Office of Rural Health REQUIRED

• Experience managing or administering federal grants REQUIRED

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science REQUIRED

• Minimum 6 months of experience working with the Florida Department of Health REQUIRED

• Experience preparing federal grant narratives

• Experience preparing budget narratives

• Experience preparing quarterly and federal grant reports

• Strong project management and grant coordination experience

• Experience with grant compliance and monitoring

• Experience tracking grant budgets, expenditures, and deliverables

• Strong documentation and reporting skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to coordinate across multiple program areas and stakeholder groups

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate federal and state-funded grant programs.

• Coordinate grant-funded projects from planning through completion.

• Prepare annual project narratives, budget narratives, quarterly progress reports, and other federal grant documentation.

• Monitor grant milestones, deliverables, budgets, and expenditures.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state grant requirements.

• Support grant audits and documentation requests.

• Review and approve vendor invoices associated with grant-funded activities.

• Coordinate procurement and purchasing activities.

• Work closely with program directors, budget managers, project managers, and leadership.

• Support rural healthcare and Critical Access Hospital initiatives.

• Conduct research and analysis for healthcare program initiatives.

• Coordinate feasibility studies and strategic planning activities.

• Support healthcare data reporting and dashboard initiatives.

Important Requirements

Candidates must have:

1. State Office of Rural Health experience
