Accounting Assistant

Job Description

The Accounting Assistant reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager as a temporary assignment with the possibility

of permanent employment. This position requires reliable, detailed work in a variety of accounting and administrative

tasks in a faced-paced accounting environment.

• Perform high-volume, accurate data entry.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Process invoices and maintain financial records.

• Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.

• Prepare and update spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.

• File and organize accounting documentation.

• Provide general administrative support to the Accounting Department.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

• Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. • Entry-level accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred.

• Experience with Quickbooks software is a plus.
