Accounting Manager

Interim-to-hire Accounting Manager Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute key components of the month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and flux analyses
• Partner with supply chain, operations, and FP&A to analyze gross margin and production costs
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to provide requested documentation
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function
• Assist with ERP system enhancements and data integrity initiatives (SAP, NetSuite, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA (or active pursuit) strongly preferred
• 3–6+ years of accounting experience; mix of public accounting + industry preferred
• Experience in CPG, manufacturing, or inventory-heavy environments required
• Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
