CGP - Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and assess financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliations, including payroll related balances and key general ledger accounts.
• Clean up historical financial data and correct inconsistencies within the accounting system.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve controls and efficiency.
• Support audit activities and ensure documentation is complete and aligned with reporting standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounting with exposure to audit or financial review processes.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation procedures.
• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and financial tools used for reporting and workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Public accounting or audit experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
• Previous experience working with accounting platforms such as NetSuite and Bill.com.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills and accuracy.
• Organized and proactive work style with the ability to improve processes and maintain clean records.
