CGP: Accounting Consultant (Accounting Manager / Controller)

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Controller to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $58.00 to $72.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Audit investment records and related transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to due diligence data requests by gathering, organizing, and delivering timely financial documentation.
• Compile and analyze financial data for company valuation specialists to support strategic initiatives.
• Develop and refine month-end fluctuation analyses to identify trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining a hands-on role in day-to-day financial operations.

• Possess prior experience as at least a mid-level manager in accounting or finance.
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Sage and Vista Viewpoint accounting systems.
• Show proficiency in preparing detailed financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Exhibit the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Communicate financial insights clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• Bring experience from a Big Four firm or a public accounting/audit environment.
• Apply a solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Preferably have experience in the construction or industrial sector.
• Use strong analytical skills to support financial accuracy and business decision-making.
