Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $125,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits. Provide recommendations for improving systems and procedures. Initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. Meet financial accounting objectives by effectively managing the team.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Prior experience in real estate accounting, or property accounting is preferred.
- MRI highly preferred
- CPA a plus
- Familiarity with accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Efficiently managing tasks and deadlines is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
