CGP: Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $52 to $70 per hour.
Job Description:- Schedule, manage and coordinate the monthly/quarterly/annual close and SEC filing process
- Supervise, direct, and review the work of accounting staff
- Review and supervise the preparation and processing of payroll and the processing of accounts payable
- Assist Controller with the preparation of external financial statement and SOX review and audits
- Assist Controller with the management of general administrative functions
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively and present accounting information to various levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional areas in a collaborative, team environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database tools
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
