GENERAL SCOPE & SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for all Alvaria Professional Services projects for challenging accounts involving multiple products. The Project Manager will oversee the development and delivery of complex Alvaria solutions through consulting project activities. Responsibilities span from project assignment through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Sufficient technical abilities to review system architecture definition, hardware/software specifications, communicate issues and follow up on solutions. Project management activities involve extensive interaction with customer project managers and most senior level resources in monitoring schedule and costs. Financial responsibilities include project cost estimating, proposal generation, revenue forecasting, and invoicing. Identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Performance is typically measured by the adherence to project schedules/milestones, overall project profitability, compliance with measures, as well as overall customer satisfaction with Alvaria and its delivered solutions. Assist customers in the development of strategies and programs related to the integration of technology solutions in alignment to business operations. Research and recommend various technology/systems options to optimize a company function or processes. Assist customers in the areas of solution planning, impact analysis, risk assessment while incorporating known regulatory issues. May participate in a client/customer steering committee related to the project being implemented.

Focus on planning and managing Alvaria solution delivery serving as a single point of contact for customers on all project related issues. Oversees multiple small to large projects with some implementing multiple Aspect solutions. Provide management assistance and oversight to Aspect resources delivering the solutions.

PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the implementation and on-site deployment of professional services deliverables to our customers.
\n
• Maintain project repository by posting project documents and keeping all items up to date
\n
• Ability to coordinate cross-organizational resources based on project requirements.
\n
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
\n
• Handle day-to-day activities and communication between customer and Alvaria personnel.
\n
• Individuals will have a solid understanding of current technologies.
\n
• Must be able to work independently and/or as part of a wider project team and assume ultimate responsibility for customer satisfaction during the implementation process by thoroughly delivering installed and tested products.
\n
• Develop, maintain, and manage Project plans, project budgets, and P&L using a variety of standard tools including Microsoft Office suite, Project Accounting and Salesforce.
\n
• Overall accountability for achievement of project financial objectives – revenues, profitability (gross margin), and compliance
\n
• Develop and submit project revenue and expense forecasts as required.
\n
• Coordinate and ensure timely project progress/milestone billings.
\n
• Work closely with PS management, providing regular updates on project status, issues and opportunities where appropriate.
\n
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues and facilitate the resolution process.
\n
• Maintain and enhance customer relationships through professional demeanor and communications.
\n
• Follow established project processes and methodology.
\n
• Undertake other tasks that may be necessary to create an outstanding environment for the growth of a value-driven company.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in decision making and problem solving; resource management; conflict management; leadership; and planning, prioritizing and goal setting.

• Ability to communicate complex information to customers, internal resources, vendors, and partners at all organizational levels.
\n
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships.

• Ability to use professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. Deliver assignments without considerable direction.

• Ability to develop resolutions to complex problems where analyses of situations or data require an in-depth evaluation of various factors and the frequent use of creativity.

• Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
\n
• Apply specialized knowledge of Alvaria products; along with strong project management skills to define project scope, plans, schedules, and documentation
\n
• Familiarity with contact center technology, telephony, networking and cloud computing strongly desired.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 + years of experience.
\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
\n
• Ability to travel and work after hours as required.
\n
• Ability to pass a background check may also be required.
\n
• Skilled in the use of standard project management tools, such as Microsoft Project
\n
• Functional use of MS Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn and utilize resource tools specific to Alvaria.
