Data Entry Clerk

AltaStaff is a staffing agency and we are currently looking for a Data Entry Clerk for one of our Managed Care clients.

*Must work PST hours*

Pay Rate: $16 - $17.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PST

Fully remote but candidates must reside in one of the following states: NY, FL, GA, MI, OH, WI, IA, NM, TX or KY

Primary function in this project role will be data entry into a Salesforce database. Also provides general administrative support that may include routine document preparation, file management, scheduling/arranging meetings, email and instant message communication and data entry.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Under general supervision, provides clerical support and performs tasks necessary for maintenance of files and various databases.
• Performs tasks within the required time frames according to policy and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains data entry for documents and projects.
• Develops, implements, and maintains timetable matrix / work plans to ensure timely and successful task completion.
• Prepares and submits task update reports and reviews documents for general application information accuracy.
• Provides confidential administrative and clerical support to Directors(s) in a professional, helpful and positive manner.

Required Education/Experience/Licensure:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a clerical/office admin position, preferably healthcare related
• Strong organization skills, Excel skills
• Experience with data entry of alpha-numeric information
• Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers
