Senior Fund Accountant

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our SPV clients throughout the lifecycle of their investment vehicles. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex investment transactions and providing critical support to our internal teamsall within a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

• Manage post-closing events for Sydecar's SPV products including transfers of interest, conversions, and realizations
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all post-initial-close questions, partnering with the broader Customer Experience team to navigate complex investment structures
• Ensure standardization across the team by developing thoughtful, repeatable standard operating procedures
• Prepare and review distribution calculations
• Set up and review payments to companies and investors

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in a Fund Accountant position
• Strong understanding of venture capital/private equity structures and operations.
• Proficiency in US GAAP
• Exceptional attention to detail, process driven, and highly organized, with an eye for process/product improvement
• Strong communication skills with a passion for client service and creating positive customer experiences.
• High proficiency with Excel
• Experience working in a technology-driven organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
