Location: Chicago, IL / Remote
Job Type: Contract
Rate: $50/hr
Job Description: In this role, we are looking for a stronger Technical BA profile with significant experience in data analysis, SQL, integrations, reconciliation, and billing/accounting-related functionality. Experience supporting insurance, healthcare, benefits administration, or student health insurance platforms would be highly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable partnering with both technology teams and accounting/business stakeholders while driving complex requirements, data analysis, and system enhancement efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders, developers, QA resources, and accounting teams to elicit, document, and refine business and system requirements.
- Translate complex business processes and financial requirements into detailed functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mapping documents.
- Support student health insurance platform enhancements, school migrations, billing process enhancements, data migration activities, and related system integrations.
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting across multiple systems and data sources.
- Analyze inbound and outbound carrier, enrollment, eligibility, and financial data files to identify discrepancies, rules, and process improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, backlog refinement sessions, system demonstrations, and UAT activities.
- Support production issue analysis, root cause investigation, and solution validation.
