Senior Physician Recruiting Consultant

Role Description
In this role, you will lead the recruitment of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers by partnering with sourcing strategists and recruitment coordinators to deliver a high-quality candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Provider recruitment and excellent relationship-building skills. This position is remote for candidates residing in Arizona.

Position Summary
This position recruits executives and leaders or physicians to meet the organization’s recruitment and strategic initiative goals working closely with the candidates and hiring authority. Actively involved in the leader/physician recruitment process from the time a position is opened through the successful retention of leader/physician. Positively represents the organization in all interactions with diplomacy, tact and a professional demeanor.
Core Functions
- Manages all aspects of the leader/physician recruitment process from early contact with prospective leaders/physicians through on-boarding.
- Conducts telephone interviews using excellent listening and questioning skills to build applicant interest and determine candidate fit.
- Works closely with the hiring authority to evaluate candidates and make recommendations for hire.
- Collaborates with talent acquisition leadership and hiring authorities to determine candidate needs and vacancies.
- Maintains in-depth working knowledge of executives/leaders and/or physicians, as well as national trends affecting them.
- Engages parties from operations to plan, implement, and evaluate recruitment policies and processes.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date tracking of all opportunities and candidates’ status through centralized database program.
- Possesses an executive presence by exhibiting energy, excitement, enthusiasm, and courage.
- Position supports the organization’s leader and/or physician recruitment needs.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of business and/or healthcare as normally obtained through a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public relations, marketing or related field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of executive and/or physician recruitment demonstrated through at least five years of experience.
- Proven experience in a recruitment, healthcare, public relations, business or marketing environment.
- Superb negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak professionally to small or large groups and senior leadership.

- Able to conceptualize, envision, and plan for the future based on experience and knowledge of the executive/physician market.
