Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to accurately understand each patient’s unique experiences and concerns.

• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect individual cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions—including individual, family, and group therapy—designed to address complex mental health concerns while promoting overall well-being and resilience.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic approaches to a patient's mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, using strong crisis management skills to stabilize situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering empowerment and self-advocacy.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance collaborative care practices.

• Stay up-to-date with current mental health research, therapeutic practices, and cultural factors influencing patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid professional license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated understanding of diverse mental health disorders and familiarity with a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive techniques to engage clients.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
