Secretary (OA)
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Receives incoming calls from patients, clients, staff, and others in need of information.
- Processes incoming and outgoing materials, including correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other written communications.
- Edits letters, composes letters and reports, reviews correspondence for accuracy and completeness, establishes and monitors suspense dates, prepares public presentation outlines, and develops standard or form letters.
- Schedules meetings and maintains a calendar of appointments.
- Performs office automation work on a personal computer using multiple programs to complete documentation.
- Utilizes a range of software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) to prepare correspondence.
- Maintains office supplies and equipment.
- Prepares travel arrangements for staff.
- Ensures office compliance with regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Provides training and/or coaching to subordinate clerical staff.
Work Schedule: Full-time, 6:30 am - 3 pm, Monday-Friday. Work schedule subject to change based on agency need.
Telework (ad hoc): This position may be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
