Entry-level Mobile Field Technician, Long Island NY

Job Summary Join our team at Terex as an Entry‑Level Mobile Field Service Technician in the Long Island, NY area. The role involves growing and expanding our service support across the US, conducting safety‑first field support, and providing on‑the‑ground solutions for a variety of equipment—including truck‑mounted hydraulic utility equipment and/or aerial work platforms. Work as part of a team in an expanding and growing environment. Count on a consistent schedule each week, with opportunities for overtime. Qualifications Must be able to successfully pass MVR. Must be able to obtain an active DOT qualification. Must live within 20 miles of Long Island, NY. Experience, educational background and/or desire to learn mechanics, electronics, or hydraulic systems is preferred. Basic computer and shop math skills. Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings and work orders. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑based, safety‑focused workplace. Ability to travel overnight within the assigned region. Some trade school or equivalent training. Strong reliability, initiative and a positive attitude. Willingness and eagerness to meet and exceed deadlines and goals while learning and growing in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment. Own basic, job‑related tools. Must be willing to work varied hours and be on the road up to three to four nights per week. Able to work comfortably in tight spaces and at heights, climb ladders, access vehicles from various positions, lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs., and perform duties in diverse weather conditions.
