Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Special Education teaching license issued in Michigan
• Demonstrated experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and progress monitoring
• Effective collaborator and communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability in various educational environments and with diverse learners
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and individualized student support

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities
• Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to facilitate student inclusion and success
• Assess student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Support students in developing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional skills
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation
• Participate in professional development sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and program quality
