Staff Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Assist in preparing required material for annual external audit Participates in month-end close process Prepares journal entries for both job costing and general ledger Calculates and files sales & use tax for multiple jurisdictions Set up and close new jobs in the accounting system Manage company credit cards Various balance sheet account reconciliations Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved. Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission and values. Must be knowledgeable about and follow the company's safety policies and procedures. Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance in accordance with the position’s schedule and operational needs. Maintain professional, respectful, and cooperative working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and others to support effective teamwork and business operations. Must be willing to travel, if required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 2-4 years’ experience required. Job costing experience preferred, and knowledge of Viewpoint software is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
