Business AnalystEngagement Description:With general guidance and coaching, provides analytical support to a specific group of customers on business applications, infrastructure and technology related activitiesActs as a project team member, specifically on requirements definition and testing activitiesProvides guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on complex problems and ensures resolutionAssists customers on their migration to new or revised products, applications, and platformsWorks with application developers and operations personnel to support production applications and customer-specific operationsProjects include:Review, revise and implement LTACH network and contracting strategy for the HMOReview, revise and implement PPO network strategy for a yet to be specified ancillary service (e.g. ambulance, ASF, UC, HIT)Support RFP development and implementation of a laboratory prior authorization vendorSupport review and implementation of a lab medical policy editing systemThe position will lead research, analysis and develop recommendations for executive leadershipQualifications:Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:Strong analytic skills (both quantitative and qualitative)Self-starter, ability to work independently within a team environmentExcellent writing skills to communicate complex ideas to multiple audiencesExcellent analytical, planning and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously; establish project plans, objectives to ensure goals are metAbility to organize, analyze projects and drive business requirements across the enterpriseExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organizationAbility to develop and present to various stakeholders, internally and externallyThe effective initiative, ownership, and accountabilityUse of Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Significant creativity is required.PUBLIC HEALTH AND FINANCE BACKGROUND PREFERREDKnowledge of managed care conceptsWorking knowledge of data languages (SAS, SQL, etc)Education/ Certifications • Bachelors is required, masters preferred Founded in 2007, InterSources Inc is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) & Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certified Company specializing in providing IT Consulting, IT Staffing Solutions, and Software solutions.
