Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of your clients’ mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective and structured interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to promote mental well-being.
\n
• Monitor client progress, adapt treatment plans as necessary, and document all findings in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Participate in case consultations, regular team meetings, and professional development workshops to stay informed about advancements in mood disorder research.

• Serve as a client advocate, addressing mental health stigma and ensuring that clients' needs are met with compassion and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse client base dealing with various challenges including relationship conflicts, divorce, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated focus on divorce and relationship counseling, and the ability to create a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and navigate complex familial situations.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop trusting relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, a nonjudgmental attitude, and a commitment to supporting clients through their unique experiences.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage both client caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in one or more therapeutic modalities, including structural family therapy, strategic systems therapy, narrative therapy, transgenerational therapy, or communication therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
