As a Medical Receptionist, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work-flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures - before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Saturdays, full-time hours.
- Location: Stony Brook and Bethpage
- Compensation: $19$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Language Requirement: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.
- Paid Training (2-4 weeks)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, escort to examination rooms, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Verify insurance information and support billing-related processes.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and EMR/EHR systems.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms, assist with room turnover, and provide post-procedure instructions.
- Support bilingual patient communication when applicable.
