Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Site Assistance in Lancaster, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring values through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disruptions, visitor concerns, and/or access-related issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with facility policies, directing individuals to appropriate departments or locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
