Become a Key Player as an Accountant II – Payroll / General LedgerYou will support the Finance Team by executing payroll and general ledger processes that ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will work closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to support month-end close, audits, and forecasting. This is a temporary assignment with potential to become permanent; work model: Onsite, 1st shift.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamPrepare, record, verify, analyze, and report payroll transactions, including collecting and reconciling timecard information and submitting payroll filesMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, cashbook, and bank statement reconciliationsProcess monthly intercompany transactions and reconcile related accountsAccrue contract labor hours and maintain/allocate project hoursSupport monthly forecast updates, reserve reviews, and partner reporting initiativesAssist with month-end close activities and meet tight short close deadlines (as short as 4 days)Participate in audits (financial, SOX) and perform internal audit tasks to identify control improvementsResearch and resolve outstanding liabilities across procurement, R&D engineering, and capitalProduce balance sheet, profit and loss, and ad-hoc financial analysis as assignedHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent3+ years of relevant experienceKnowledge and hands-on experience with payroll and general ledger processesProficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)Experience with an ERP systemStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in changing situationsGood interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlinesHere's What Else Might Help You OutExperience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)Familiarity with BlackLine or other reconciliation/close toolsAudit and SOX experiencePay Range$32.40 - $40.50/hourThis role may fill quickly.
