Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, effective treatment options, and self-care practices to foster autonomous recovery.

• Monitor client progress actively, continuously adjusting treatment plans to ensure ongoing improvement and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Among them are vulnerable groups like the homeless, refugees, and domestic abuse survivors, and you'll provide essential support and guidance tailored to their unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
