Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote mental wellness.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and motivation.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies and improve outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work specifically with clients suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You may also interact with vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your ability to empathize and create a safe space for these individuals will be vital in fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Possession of a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a similar field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
