Lifeguard

The Lifeguard / Swim Instructor at Miramont Country Club in Bryan, Texas, is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and enjoyable aquatic environment for our members and their guests. This role combines vigilant pool supervision, emergency response and the delivery of engaging swim lessons while providing exceptional customer service in a professional and friendly manner. Essential Functions Provides vigilant supervision of the pool to ensure the safety of members and guests. Enforces pool rules and safety procedures in a professional, courteous, and consistent manner. Responds to emergencies and administers First Aid, CPR, AED, and water rescues as required. Conducts routine pool inspections and assists with pool opening and closing tasks. Maintains clean, safe, and organized pool facilities, deck, office, and locker rooms. Provides exceptional customer service and communicates pool rules, programs, and safety information. Assists with registration, guest processing, lesson scheduling, record keeping, and related tasks. Works collaboratively with team members, attends training, and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Valid Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
