Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity in Home Care

Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a critical role in guiding patients on their path to recovery, helping them restore motion and achieve their highest potential functionality. Founded by professionals passionate about orthopedic care, Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is a private physical therapy practice recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. We operate within a modern 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies designed to support a wide range of therapeutic modalities. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative and supportive environment as we prioritize individualized care for each patient.

Work Environment

This full-time role is set in an onsite home care facility, allowing us to bring high-quality therapy directly to our clients. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We focus on delivering care to a diverse range of patients, primarily those with private medical insurance, enabling us to concentrate on providing personalized treatment without the constraints often found in larger medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their specific goals and needs, ensuring a personalized therapy approach.
• Manage an individual caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused, quality care and engagement in treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise to provide cost-effective treatments aimed at enhancing clients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Reduce dependence on medication through effective physical therapy techniques, offering alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Develop detailed care plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based treatment methodologies tailored to each patient.
• Create specialized fitness and wellness programs to address the unique requirements and goals of your patients.
• Deliver high-quality, personalized therapy services based on established evidence and proven interventions that foster patient progress.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process, focusing on enhancing functional outcomes and quality of life.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices by improving patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and maintain clear, effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Document all patient care services accurately to maintain compliance and facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. At Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy, we prioritize personalization in treatment, adapting therapy methods based on individual progress and feedback, which empowers patients to embrace a proactive role in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Unblemished professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong competence in manual therapy techniques and exceptional ability to develop and execute exercise protocols.
• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• A strong background in developing rehabilitation programs for diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
