Work Environment

The clinical schedule operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish baseline functions and develop individualized treatment plans targeting their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Manage an appropriate patient caseload to ensure dedicated time and quality of care for each individual.
• Implement a range of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy modalities, and modalities for pain relief, ensuring that each intervention is evidence-based.
• Monitor patient progress through continuous evaluation and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Document all services and patient interactions accurately using EMR software to maintain detailed patient records.
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes by providing fitness and wellness program recommendations tailored to each patient's individual requirements.
• Continuously research and apply the latest physical therapy techniques and findings to enhance treatment quality and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role caters primarily to patients seeking outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services. You will work with a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and post-surgical patients. As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients overcome barriers to movement, ultimately improving their functional independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven expertise in various manual therapy techniques, enhancing treatment effectiveness.
• Exceptional skill in designing and implementing successful exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for efficient and precise documentation.
• A strong understanding of contemporary physical therapy methodologies supported by clinical research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred.
• Continuous education through workshops or courses in new treatment modalities is advantageous.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing to collective patient care goals.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position comes with a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
