Key Responsibilities\n

As a mental health counselor at Blooming Minds, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual goals.

• Delivering personalized therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and more.

• Establishing clear therapeutic goals and regularly monitoring and documenting client progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Providing teletherapy options, catering to clients who may face accessibility challenges, ensuring a wider reach for mental health support.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Participating in ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or hold a PsyD.

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients from all backgrounds.
