Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess patients’ needs and formulate tailored treatment plans aimed at improving their overall mental health.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, using a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to engage clients effectively.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups, creating a safe space for patients to share experiences and learn about managing their mental health.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care that considers all aspects of patient health.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, ensuring that patients receive immediate help during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients on their mental health issues and available treatment pathways, including external community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards to support quality care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions, participating in case consultations, and staying updated on industry advancements.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington state is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders coupled with knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques is critical.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and tailoring individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment, facilitating coordinated patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience providing individual and group therapy to a range of clients, including adolescents and adults.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure the efficient management of patient documentation and treatment records.

Compensation and Benefits\n
