Beyond Logix is a fast-growing, NVOCC. A third-party logistics company providing end-to-end supply chain solutions including freight brokerage, customs brokerage, and cross-border transportation management. We are launching a dedicated Mexico-US cross-border division and are looking for the right person to own it from day one.

The Role

You'll be the operational backbone of our cross-border freight program, managing the full lifecycle of Mexico-to-US shipments for a major manufacturing client. This isn't a support role — you'll be building and running a division. You'll coordinate carriers on both sides of the border, manage customs documentation flow, communicate directly with shippers and receivers in Mexico, and ensure every load moves on time and fully compliant.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily cross-border operations for high-volume Mexico-US lanes (Chihuahua → El Paso → Texas destinations)
• Source, vet, and manage relationships with cross-border carriers (SCT + FMCSA authority, step deck, flatbed)
• Coordinate pickup scheduling with Mexican manufacturing facilities and delivery appointments at US destinations
• Oversee customs documentation flow — bills of lading, carta porte, packing lists, commercial invoices
• Work closely with our customs brokerage division on entry filings and USMCA compliance
• Communicate fluently with Mexican shippers, drivers, and facility contacts in Spanish
• Track shipments through Rose Rocket TMS
• Manage carrier compliance — insurance certificates, operating authority verification, C-TPAT status
• Identify operational issues before they become problems and resolve exceptions in real time
• Build SOPs and scalable processes as we grow this division beyond the initial account

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required — you'll be speaking both daily
• 5+ years in freight logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
• Direct experience with US-Mexico cross-border freight movements
• Familiarity with Mexican transportation regulations (SCT authority, carta porte) and US customs processes
• Experience with step deck / flatbed / OD freight preferred
• Knowledge of FMCSA carrier vetting, operating authority, and DOT compliance
• Strong communicator who takes ownership — you'll be the single point of contact for this program
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, small-company environment where you wear multiple hats
• Willingness to travel to El Paso and border region as needed

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rose Rocket, WebSettle, or similar TMS/payment platforms
• C-TPAT or customs compliance knowledge
• Existing carrier relationships in the El Paso / Juárez / Chihuahua corridor
• Licensed customs broker or freight broker experience
