Human Resources Generalist

Our Client is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to support core HR operations, drive employee engagement, and partner with leaders to foster an inclusive and high-performing workplace. This role is central to executing transactional HR processes, guiding associates and supervisors, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Execute core HR processes including onboarding, orientation, unemployment claims, exit interviews, leave administration, OSHA reporting, and transitional return-to-work programs. Provide coaching and guidance to associates and supervisors on policies and procedures. Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and staffing plans. Manage eTime system and payroll-related activities. Support HR Business Partners in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required (preferred for internal candidates). 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources management or equivalent training/experience. Certifications HRCI Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred. Workday experience preferred. Professional Skills Strong active listening and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to motivate, develop, and direct personnel resources effectively. Social perceptiveness and strong interpersonal skills to build trust and resolve issues. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including negotiation and decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong comprehension skills for written and verbal information.
