About the Role

The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of community development and impact. The successful candidate will be a strategic, operational, and external leader, responsible for driving the organization's growth and community impact. This role requires a deep commitment to mission-aligned lending, equitable development, and a strong focus on financial strength and portfolio performance. The CEO will be the public face of the organization, building influential relationships across various networks and ensuring that the company's lending products are responsive to community needs. Essential duties include leading the development and execution of the long-term strategic plan, overseeing financial operations, and fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and high performance. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a preference for a background in banking, CDFI, or CDC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in lending, underwriting, and risk management, as well as strong capital-raising and funder relationship skills. They must be a community-centered, relationship builder, and a visionary leader with the ability to guide the organization through economic and political shifts. Experience in government, public-sector, and policy fluency is also desired. The role demands a leader with high emotional intelligence, strong stakeholder diplomacy, and a data-informed, mission-driven decision-making approach. The CEO will be expected to champion the organization's impact, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead a diverse, high-performing team with a focus on professional growth and development.
